Suorin Drop All-in-One Pod System Review

Most e-cigarette makers went for the cigarette look for their devices, but Suorin has a more interesting idea. The company created a teardrop-shaped small vape pod instead. Aside from the fact that it is aesthetically pleasing, it also is a nice vaping device.

The Suorin Drop box includes the Suorin Drop System, a Suorin Drop Atomizer, a warning card, a USB charging cable, and a user manual. Head over to thesaucela.com to grab this device for as low as $34.99. It is selling for nearly 40 bucks at other sites.

The Suorin Drop easily fits at the palm of your hand. It measures only 73×49×12mm. This device is available in different colors including black, diamond blue, rainbow chrome, tiffany blue, red, and yellow. It has a matte finish with a smooth surface.

The stylish refillable pod vape comes with a 2mL empty pod and has a resistance of 1.3ohm. The tight draw is perfect for mouth-to-lung (MTL) vaping. The Suorin Drop is powered by a low-capacity 300 mAh internal battery. You are unlikely to encounter overheating problems when using this device.

One of the first things you will probably notice is the round-shaped thing that contains the logo. You might mistake this as the firing button or a LED light, but it does not serve any function. The flattened teardrop design of this device is similar to the Vype Pebble, although Suorin Drop has a more solid feel and refined design.

The top part contains everything including the atomizer, two separate e-liquid reservoirs, and a mouthpiece. The pods are leak-resistant and spit back-free. It is best to fill them using needle-tip droppers. This device comes with a regular vape pen mouthpiece, by the way.

Using the Suorin Drop is easy and straightforward. It does not feature any buttons for adjusting the settings. All you need to do is inhale on the mouthpiece, and the device will fire up automatically. An air pressure sensor is triggered when you inhale, and this activates the heating element.

Performance-wise, the Suorin Drop provides a satisfying and warm MTL. It can impressively produce good clouds and rich flavors, plus the throat hit was not that bad. Overall, this device is capable of giving every vaper a nice vaping experience whether you are a flavor chaser or a cloud chaser. The only drawbacks I noticed is that there are times when it provides inconsistent hits and misfires.

There is an indicator light located below the pod. You can easily see it when you are charging but not when vaping as it is right below your nose. The LED light serves as a battery life indicator. The blue light indicates that you have 30% to 100% of battery power left. The red light means less than 30% battery left, while a flashing red light means the battery is empty and the device needs to be recharged.

Charging this device is not difficult. Simply use the USB cable provided. Plug the small end on the base part of the Drop, while the other end goes to a USB outlet. While the manual does not indicate its charging duration, a complete charging cycle lasts about 45 minutes to an hour.

Suorin recommends changing the pod after five refills. Take note that the coil is found in the pod, and it cannot be replaced. So you need to change your pod when your coil is no longer usable. A poorly performing coil produces a burnt taste, and your device will not fire up although both your battery may be full.

This device comes with a warning card which contains a detailed instruction of refilling your Suorin Drop Pod. You must leave the tank for 5 to 8 minutes after refill for the first time. This is to ensure that the wicking material has absorbed the e-liquid properly before you fire it up. If you do not do this, you may end up getting the taste of burnt cotton when vaping.

Take note also that the Suorin Drop is not compatible with vape juices with a vegetable glycerin content of below 60%.

The Suorin Drop is produced by the company Foxconn, which is also the manufacturer of the iPhone and PlayStation. Overall, I like using the Suorin Drop. Aside from it is cute design, the flavor and vapor production of this device is pretty good.
